through compelling styling & leaning into brand intention, this series is a nod to English Laundry’s signature mark of plaid, saturated swatches, embellishment, and eclecticism. this project was not only intended to create compelling visuals to help communicate the brand’s lifestyle designation, but it was also intended to create internal excitement surrounding product features in order to drive and elevate in store sales.
*achieved number one sales results in all colorways featured at Macy’s & accounted for 53% total company store unit sales from single location before promotional offering. 50% total company store gross volume from single location before promotional offering.
social media influence
generating a modest reception on social platforms and peaking the interest of 4th generation Alex Gushner of Boyds Philadelphia. most important to note, is that Alex Gushner “works[s] in [Boyd’s] men's buying office: [buying] all [of their] tailored clothing for the store which is definitely the engine that runs [their] store,” with a “heritage… rooted in tailor clothing.” Boyd's is also known for "their "thirty-five-person tailor shop, which is,... the largest in the country." more about Boyd’s rich tradition here in this article by The New York Times. see Boyd's instagram feed bellow for Fall 2018.
